The project
This Palo Alto homeowner wanted privacy and security at the street without sacrificing curb appeal. We designed and built a custom full-privacy driveway gate, then automated it with FAAC operators and a keypad so the family can come and go without leaving the car. The result is a quiet, reliable gate that closes the property off from the road and adds a clean, finished look to the entrance.
Full-privacy gates use solid panels rather than open pickets, so they block sightlines from the sidewalk and street, a popular choice on Palo Alto's walkable, tree-lined blocks. We handle the whole job in house: gate design and fabrication, the gate opener, wiring, safety sensors, and access control, all backed by a 1 to 2 year labor warranty.
