Elsewhere the limit is 6 feet (7 with lattice); in the Hillside Area the limit is 6 feet with wildlife-friendly fencing required on lots of one acre or more. Hillside gates must also provide fire-department emergency access. Rules change and every lot is different, so we confirm the current requirements with the town and pull the permits the gate and automation need.
